The ADVANCED BODYWORK Massage Therapists have extensive education in the following Massage and Bodywork Techniques.

Medical Massage is performed with the intent of improving medical conditions or pathologies that have been diagnosed by a physician.  A wide variety of modalities or procedures will be utilized to focus the treatment based on the diagnosed condition.

Orthopedic Massage involves therapeutic assessment, manipulation and movement of locomotor soft tissues to reduce or eliminate pain and dysfunction. A unique multidisciplinary approach is utilized to restore structural balance throughout the body which will allow you to focus on the prevention and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal dysfunctions, chronic pain and sports injuries.  The primary modalities taught include:

  • kinesiology
  • assessment (muscle testing, postural analysis)
  • neuromuscular therapy (trigger point)
  • myofascial release
  • scar tissue mobilization techniques
  • muscle energy techniques (p.n.f. stretching)
  • neuromuscular re-education
  • strengthening
  • stretching and "at home" recommendations to prolong client results
The combination of these techniques will allow you to obtain immediate and permanent results in even the most challenging and complicated clients.

Doctor referrals accepted, some Insurance Accepted. Package plans available. Time and Cost of Treatment are based on Client’s Condition. The Goal of Advanced Bodywork is to Get the Maximum Results, as well as make the treatment Affordable, Accessible and Better than the Rest!!!

Educational Requirements The Modalities used in Medical Massage require the Medical Massage Practioner, (MMP) to have Advanced Skills in Anatomy, Physiology, Biomechanics, Kinesiology, and other movement studies. Advanced Bodywork Massage Therapists are led by T.C. Cameron, Owner and Operator of Advanced Bodywork. T.C. holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Kinesiology (movement). All Advanced Bodywork Massage Therapists are required to attend 100's of hours of medical/orthopedic training in addition to completing an extensive internship working with injury and pain.


Therapeutic (wellness) Massage Therapy improves your general well being, helps prevent injury, provides relaxation and relief from muscle soreness, headaches, and everyday tension. Treatments include:

  • Swedish is a gentle, relaxation massage
     
  • Deep Tissue / Sports Massage is designed to reach the deep layers of the muscle by applying slow strokes, direct pressure or friction.
     
  • Hot Stone Massage
     
  • Traditional Thai Massage is a multifaceted bodywork system that includes therapeutic stretching, joint mobilization, rhythmic deep tissue compression, toning of energy lines, acupressure and assisted hatha yoga poses.
     
  • Reflexology
     
  • Pregnancy Massage
