During a massage, Diane told me she thought I may have a hernia and I should see a doctor, I did immediately. Care Now is the medical service I use and they sent me to have a CT Scan. The results showed I did not have a hernia. . . . it showed I had three hernias. Ha! Ha! I had surgery two weeks ago today and I had my first "follow up" appointment yesterday. I am healing just fine and I go back in a month to get instruction on how to begin the process of being able to start lifting, exercising, etc. I am hoping to be able to start Bikram Yoga classes once more, some time around the first of May. Diane is an extremely gifted medical massage therapist and I feel so lucky to have her to work her magic on my body. If it was not for her, I would still be suffering. I was injured at my job at American Airlines 5 years ago and since the have had a major surgery and physical therapy. I was skeptical on whether or not massage would help, but after I had Jennifer work on me I can honestly say I have never found better pain relief. Posted By: D. Duranczyk |

I wanted to contact you regarding my experience with Advanced Body Works and Yvette Abrego. I had sharp pain in my upper back that was radiating up my neck and around to my ribcage. The first appointment with Yvette was my first true introduction to deep tissue massage. It was INCREDIBLE and NOTHING like any other massage I've had... Yvette identified the source of the problem immediately and worked for a full hour on that specific area. I felt better right away and after my second session the pain was substantially better. Yvette was phenomenal. After one session I have more mobility and less pain than I have had in years. I had a great night sleep that I have not had in two years! It was so wonderful. I know I have a long way to go with more sessions, and look forward to them all. And I know I have a long road ahead of homework on my own to keep the pain from returning. But I am really excited! Thanks TC…!!! Just climbed half dome 2 times 13 hours, and 11 hours. Then 4 days later climbed mt shasta 14,000 ft, 16 hours and the escape from alcatraz triathlon this weekend. No knee problems and no mystery leg pain!!! I'm soooo happy!! You are best. Posted By: J. Hinkle |
