Orthopedic Massage/Kinesiologist
T.C is a graduate of the University of North Texas, where she excelled and received a BS in Kinesiology. She has more than 16 years of clinical treatment experience and 11 years of teaching Orthopedic/Medical Massage.
As a national medical massage instructor, T.C. considers it her personal mission to increase the awareness of the effects of Orthopedic/Medical Massage. She believes that by building the confidence and improving the education of massage therapists that Orthopedic/Medical massage will become a cornerstone of physical medicine. Her unique blend of humor, hands on instruction and practical experience makes her classes fun, informative and inspirational.
The Advanced Bodywork and Massage team are all Certified Orthopedic/Medical Massage Therapists and have the knowledge and skills to address the most complicated Orthopedic Conditions with confidence and professionalism that is unprecedented in the massage industry. The ABW team encourages interaction with all of the client’s health care team, including Chiropractors, M.D.’s, Nutritionists, Personal Trainers, and Physical Therapists to ensure the fastest healing possible.
Jennifer Duranczyk, L.M.T, M.M.P.
Jennifer graduated from Miller Motte Technical College in Wilmington, North Carolina in 2006 with a certification in massage and bodywork. She is nationally certified and is a proud member of AMTA. Jen is certified in Orthopedic as well as Medical Massage and regularly treats clients with chronic pain. She assists TC in Orthopedic Medical Massage courses. Her current techniques include Deep tissue, therapeutic, reflexology, hot stone, prenatal and sports massage. She regularly attends classes and seminars to broaden her knowledge of the field. Her belief is that wellness can only be achieved when the mind, body and spirit are in balance. She strives to bring this philosophy to her treatments.
Di (Diane-Shigeta) Burgess, L.M.T., M.M.P.
Di (Diane) Burgess has been a licensed Massage Therapist for 16 years and certified Medical Massage practitioner for 7 years. She excels in treating hip and sciatica pain along with many other joint problems. She has worked with many Bikram students such as the Dallas Stars and Cowboys in advancing their flexibility. Diana is trained in all Advanced Bodywork Treatment and continues to study deep tissue and reflexology.
Yvette Abrego, B.S., M.M.P., L.M.T.
As an athlete Yvette became fascinated with the human body and its movements which led her to take courses in kinesiology, anatomy, and physiology in college. After graduating from Louisiana Tech University with a BS she decided to fulfill her dream of being a massage therapist. Her specialized techniques include deep tissue, therapeutic, and hot stone massage. Yvette is also trained in all Advance Medical and Orthopedic Massage.

Visit Joël Romig at our Arlington clinic! Joël began her bodywork education in 1989; and began practicing massage full time in 1997 after receiving her BS in Human Health & Behavior. Joël's focus is injury prevention and rehab, including pre & post surgical. She has worked with world class athletes at the Olympics, as well as National and World Champions in various sports. Joël is trained in Sports Massage, Russian Medical Massage, Vacutherapy, and Craniosacral. |
